Meizu 16Xs camera samples show off ultra-wide angle lens   May 29, 2019 With the   Redmi K20   series out of the way, the next anticipated launch is the Meizu 16Xs.   Meizu   will announce the phone on Thursday, May 30. The device has been reported to have a triple rear camera setup, one of which is an ultra-wide angle camera. Camera samples showing this lens in action have been published online. Huawei's alternative operating system to Android may be called Ark OS: Report Huawei reportedly trademarked three new names for its new operating system on 24 May. Since US President Donal Trump's executive order to ban Huawei in the country, several companies cut ties with Huawei. First Google announced that it will  revoke Android license  from the company, then  German chipmaker Infineon suspended shipments to Huawei , soon after  ARM employees were instructed to suspend business with Huawei , and then  Microsoft took down Huawei laptops from its store . Redmi K20 Pro arrives with Snapdragon 855 and 48 MP camera 29 MAY 2019 Xiaomi has just introduced the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro, dubbed the “Flagship Killer 2.0”. They both come with 48 MP main cameras, OLED panels with UD fingerprint scanners and an elevating cameras. The vanilla K20 is powered by the Snapdragon 730, while the Pro version sports a Snapdragon 855. The screen is 6.39” in diagonal and comes with Full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 tall ratio. It is pretty much bezel-less, and that’s why the front-facing camera made its way to the pop-up mechanism from the top side. The Snapdragon 855 chipset was already teased, but now we know the K20 Pro arrives with 6/8 RAM and storage between 64 and 256 GB. The 48 MP camera with Sony IMX586 sensor is just one of three in the main setup on the back. Samsung's announcement hints at 100W fast charging for the Galaxy Note 10 Samsung has moved to the top of the field in the fast charging wars by introducing today a pair of new Type-C power delivery (PD) controllers. The SE8A and MM101 both are embedded with an eFlash feature that allows for firmware updates. Both controllers also provide up to 100 watts of power (20V / 5A). The SE8A contains an extra security feature called Secure Element making it the first PD controller to offer an extra level of security. The MM101 can sense moisture which could stop the charging process in situations where the user could receive a fatal shock. It also supports the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) for product authentication. Both chips have "over-voltage" protection. With the new PD controllers inside a phone, authorized chargers will be able to communicate with a handset to pass through the "optimal amount" of juice to make sure the battery is being charged...

Redmi K20 appears on Geekbench, K20 Pro shines in live photos 28 May 2019 Xiaomi announced its sub-brand Redmi reached 10 million sales globally of the Note 7 series, but also reminded its flagship series K20 are arriving tomorrow. We expect to see Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro, both of which leaked one last time more before the big event. According to a listing on Geekbench, Redmi K20 will have Snapdragon 730 chipset. The Pro version will have Snapdragon 855 - we have this confirmed by the brand manager, but also by the leaked pre-sales photos of the device.   Redmi K20 on Geekbench The Redmi K20 is codenamed as Da Vinci, for some reason, and will have 6 GB RAM. The single-core score is 2,569, while for multiple cores the phone reached 7,096. New image shows off the Redmi K20 in Blue color with a pop-up selfie camera 26 May 2019 Three days ago, Redmi shared an  image  showing off the K20 in Red-ish paint job. Now, a photo doing rounds on Chinese social network Weibo shows us this upcoming smartphone in Blue color. This photo of the K20 seems to have been captured in a store in China, and it not only shows us the phone in Blue and Red shades, but also reveals the pop-up selfie camera along with the fascia of the K20 that has slim bezels and no notch. The image also includes key specifications of the K20 like Snapdragon 730 SoC, 48MP main camera, and a 4,000 mAh battery.
