One plus a CHINESE company has come a long way when it comes to its smartphone. Starting its name in a overcrowded budget segment when it started with One plus One where no one knew about this brand. One plus really at that time swirled heads of many tech enthusiasts and potential customers when they launched a cutting edge smartphone with very few compromises at only $299.








And One plus is still carrying the same trend forward where they are still able to mass produce smartphones with almost flagship grade specifications with a upper budget or mid segment price point whichever way you see it. One plus is now launching its not so new offering in INDIA the One Plus 8 (not the pro version). One plus has always rode high on numbers when it comes to sale in INDIA as the smartphone market in India is considered to be the biggest in the world only next to CHINA where One plus 8 already did well. 








But this time around One Plus might have to face issues in sale thanks to the conflicting border tensions with the smartphone company's homeland CHINA and INDIA. INDIANS on social media and various other platform are trying to propagate a message to Boycott CHINESE products.


 




Famous reformers as well as celebrities are coming up and supporting this message. Sonam Wangchuk a famous reformer whom many people know by INDIAN movie 3 idiots's depiction of his character has posted videos on Youtube urging people to remove CHINESE dependency from INDIAN citizens lives with a slogan "Hardware in a Year and software in a Week" stating that we have to remove CHINESE apps from our smartphones and other devices within a week and CHINESE hardware from our lives within a Year. He also stated that ultimately customer is the king and companies follows the market trend and once INDIAN population which is considerably large in every respect decides to boycott CHINESE products and services, other options will start to emerge and this will also in-turn revive INDIAN manufactures.


One plus has its fate in INDIA depend on the will power of youth to where the smartphone is really targeted. Sales figure will clarify more about how One plus was able to perform in this situation in INDIA.
