Realme X launch date and price in India

Realme has been a hot name in the tech industry since it very inception, be it the price and the set of features it offered in the price range it has been spectacular. Realme's previous offering such as Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2pro, Realme C1, Realme 3 and 3 pro have successfully been able to gather a lot of buzz in the Indian market.

It is not an in-evident move for them that they are planning to expand there lineup of the mobile phones that they currently have in there stock. So they have come up with another product in there line up which has capability to rival some of the like of premium segment phones without burning a hole in your pocket.

We are talking about Realme X here in which company offers features like almost full bezel less design and a popup selfie camera , former being the USP.
Recently they launched Realme X in China and have revealed there intentions of releasing in India soon as they are seeing quite an opportunity in India as well.

Talking about the phone itself we are looking at some of the usual set of specs in the mid tier smartphone space.

What people look for in a smartphone , We are going to break it down in 5 sections for you.

1. Camera
2. Screen.
3.Performance.
4. Battery.
5. Price.

* in no order or precedence

Camera: For the camera department we are looking at a dual camera set up, one being the standard main wide angle camera and other being a  depth sensor.

Details of the cameras are mentioned below.

Primary lens : 48 MP, f/1.7, PDAF

Another primary sensor: 5 MP, f/2.4, depth sensor.

Rear Camera Setup.

Keep in mind that you wont be able to take photos from the depth sensor and it is only used for depth mapping and portrait shots.Performance of the camera is on par with top end phones like Samsung galaxy 10(s) and one plus 7 pro.Camera offers all usual set of features as well.What could have been a pleasing feature is missing though. Ultra wide angle camera has become quite mainstream trend in the mid tier and the premium market space of smartphones. For the selfies, we have a Motorized pop-up 16 MP, f/2.0, 25mm (wide), 1/3", 1.0µm .

Screen: Screen is 6.53 inches, 105.2 cm² (~85.9% screen-to-body ratio). Screen used here is an amoled panel probably made by Samsung or BOE.

 Needless to say screen is not going to hold any trophies but certainly is an upgrade over ips lcd panels and is going to be a welcome feature.

Tucked below the screen is a fingerprint scanner as well which has been enhanced by the company and is a bigger sensor compared to the previous in display fingerprint scanner. It will rival the speed of one plus 7 pro if not defeat it. Front of the phone is almost screen with notch-less design and a fair bit of chin considering the smaller chin models like s10 and one plus 7 pro but then price , you got the point.

Performance: Again performance is not going to be spectacular but isn't going to be a slouch either.

We are getting a snapdragon 710 which is an octacore chipset based on 10 nm fabrication process.
Processor is clocked at 2.2 ghz and 1.7 ghz for the power saving and medium performance cores.
Gpu is a adreno 616. You won't face any problems  playing games like pubg and fortnite and will definitely enjoy the time playing games as the screen is non obtrusive and screen saturation is quite good thanks to the amoled panel.

Battery : Powering the phone is a 3765mAh cell (usual). Battery charging tech is interesting though. 

Realme is offering VOOC 3.0 charging tech, which we have seen in oppo f11 pro and which can charge your 3765mAh cell about 50% in 30 minutes or so.

Price: Considering the fact that Realme started its sales and production in india itself , we are going to be looking at a stellar price tag. 

Realme X has been launched in china for a base price of 1499 Yuan for 4Gb/64Gb variant. We could be looking at a starting price of INR15000-15500 in India and is going to be releasing at the end of June or early July. Tentative date is 28th June 2019.
