The long awaited flagship from Meizu is finally out , Yes the Meizu mx6 is in town (china town for now ). With all the excitement that all the Meizu fans were holding up in their guts since the early rumours boasted up on the internet about the flagship , it is finally launched now.

So what is there to talk about, what is new , what are the sets of features that makes it different from other flagships from competitors and what are the typical Meizu features that are improved upon.

Meizu mx 6 uses same design language as the elder brother Meizu pro6 with same unibody metal design and the antennae going all the way to the top and bottom and slightly bending at the bleeding corners . The design look and feel premium , there is certainly nothing wrong in the design even if it is a year older now , but it is in no way outdated .

Talking of the front design of the mx6 we have a 5.5 inch full high definition display , no Qhd there, well no need of it even unless you are crazy spectacle about the latest trend and top of the line spec sheet .

The display is adequately bright and offers you very good viewing angles . The display is made by sharp and is a in cell type display which offers you vivid picture quality along with a screen that is right up at your finger tips as the in cell technology guarantees you that the touch digitiser is built into the display itself , so there is no touch panel which is overlayed on the display . It is covered with a 2.5 d curved glass that seamlessly blends into the chamfered edges of the phone and gives you a feel that display is a indispensable part of the phone's back itself. On the front we also have a fingerprint scanner with dual functionality (home button embedded, capacitive touch back and depressing it for long acts as home ) .

We have better set of camera duos this time all together , there is a 12 mp rear shooter which Meizu claims can take photos with a quality at par with the Samsung galaxy flagship (The s7). Going technically The 12MP Sony IMX386 1/2.9" camera has pdaf (phase detection auto focus) , there is a dual tone led flash.

Camera has a fairly large sensor that is 1/2.9" coupled with a pixel size of  1.25 µm . Camera do come along with the rest of the very obvious set of features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama . Stay plugged to get more from the camera or in fact a in-depth camera test.

For the front snapper we have the usual set of features as they would have been in any other smartphone in this year , There is a 5MP snapper with f/2.0.

This time around , Meizu has not compromised with the processing power. It is a MediaTek Helio x20 chipset which would be taking care of all the processing needs .  Helio x20 has ample power to do any work you throw at it smoothly and many cores to share the loads as well , we have got 10 cpu cores !
(2x A72@2.3GHz, 4x A53@2.0GHz, 4x A53@1.4GHz), Mali-T880MP4 GPU, and 4GB of RAM.

The rest of the MX6 specs highlights include 32GB storage,  dual-SIM support, LTE Cat.6 connectivity, and a 3,060 mAh battery capable of fast 24W charging.

The first market to get the Meizu MX6 is China - it is priced at CNY 1,999 ($299) there. The registration process opens today, while sales begin on July 30.
